Brief: Design a 10-page monograph that relates to the word EXILE 

  

Outcome: I chose the heavy bold characteristics of Helvetica to emphasize the stark, informative context and theme. The color palette is restricted to reds, purples, and black/white to provide a saturated intensity.  The simplicity of the color palette and uniformity of the type approach is offset by the textural backgrounds created by handmade or found elements.
